Role Description:
Reporting to the Head of Content and Manager of Release Management, the Coordinator, Release Management will hold a critical role with the onboarding of 1091 Pictures' ongoing slate of independent film and series releases. This role will work with multiple departments within the company to help coordinate multiple aspects of release management for hundreds of new releases every year. The Coordinator, Release Management should possess excellent time and project management skills and must be capable of owning responsibility for a range of tasks. They will support the Content Department, which is responsible for overseeing the entire cycle of a film's public release.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboarding new films and TV projects into our internal systems
Liaising with external vendors and agencies
Supporting asset delivery and QC
Interfacing with internal departments, as well as clients, filmmakers, talent, etc.
Supporting select client inquiries and relations
Administrative support
Handling release day communications with internal teams and clients
Organizing incoming assets for internal departments
Review and polish all metadata copy to ensure grammatical correctness and SEO
Categorize film by genre, subgenres, tags, etc to ensure strong genome in algorithms
Ensure priority films are setup in key internet movie databases
REQUIREMENTS
A love of film, television, and pop culture!
Strong time management skills
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication with the skills
An active and enthusiastic team member
A fast learner with strong attention to detail
Proven ability to proactively prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results with tight deadlines
Ability to anticipate needs and assist with various tasks on an ad-hoc basis
Ability to set and achieve departmental and personal goals in a professional environment
Remote work position but LA preferred
This is a part-time role, Monday to Thursday (32 hours/week)
