SPRING INTERNSHIP:
Applicant will gain a valuable working knowledge of video & audio post production, website development and the sales and marketing of feature films. During the internship the applicant will develop a strong understanding of how films move from completion into the worldwide marketplace. Vision Films will provide you with a reference and a letter of recommendation for your resume. Chance of employment will be offered to the right candidate.
LENGTH OF INTERNSHIP:
3 months, 12 to 20 hours a week (hours are flexible)
INTERN REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have basic office computer skills in Filemaker Pro, Microsoft Office, Mac networking, research and data entry. Knowledge of FTP, Quicktime, Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, HTML, PHP a plus.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to stay focused and accomplish tasks in a timely fashion.
INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Intern will aid the Servicing Director in a variety of ways including but not limited to the following:
• Detailed technical data entry.
• Website updates.
• Assist in the collection & organization of deliverable elements from producers.
• Create web-based sales pitches for specific territories.
• Research and write synopses on new products.
• Video Encoding for web delivery.
