Alternative/Modern Rock Music Blog seeks interns to help with interviewing bands and social marketing.
Duties will include maximizing presence of the blog via Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc as well as interviewing bands via email or by phone. You will also occasionally have the opportunity to attend shows for review.
College credit is available but you don't have to be in college for this internship. You'll get free CDs, promos, posters and get to attend concerts. If you live outside of New York, you should still apply as the necessary duties can be done in any city with a decent music market as much of your work will be done from your computer. We'll make sure that we'll still get you some free stuff.
Please send a resume and a brief cover letter. Also, tell us about your top 5 favorite bands and the last 5 concerts you've attended. Also, let us know if you have any experience interviewing bands and reviewing concerts/CDs. Thank you.
