PR/Publicity Intern

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

H&M ThinkLatino! is an award-winning, results-driven full-service multicultural boutique marketing agency in Los Angeles, specializing in entertainment, B2B, and lifestyle marketing. We are seeking a qualified interns in our NYC office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assisting publicity and promotions teams
* Covering screenings and junkets
* Researching events
* Proofreading
* Providing administrative support to account teams
* Responding to media requests
* Brainstorming
* Organizing/managing promotional item inventory and shipping
* Pitching/following-up with media and promotional partners
* Maintaining/updating media lists.

Requirements
* All candidates MUST be bilingual (read and write in Spanish and English) with prior experience and/or interest in pursuing a career in marketing or communications. A degree in journalism, public relations or English is preferred; current college students must be in their junior/senior year to be considered. The applicant should possess excellent writing and communications skills, be detail oriented, organized, personable and be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel), as well as be Social Networking/Internet savvy.
