Job Title: Talent Booker
Summary: Searching for a Talent Booker for the late night program, Last Call with Carson Daly.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
• Researching and booking celebrity talent, human interest, and non-traditional guests to appear on program.
• Pitching potential talent bookings to Host and Executive Producer on a daily basis.
• Continue current and develop new relationships with talent, publicists, managers and agents.
• Act as liaison between talent representation and show producers regarding all creative and production logistics for interviews.
• Involvement in all show production procedures regarding talk guests.
Qualifications & Eligibility Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years talent booking related experience.
• Must have ability to work long and flexible hours (including nights and weekends) due to the production schedule of the show and high-pressure environment.
• References from previous employers and examples of current contacts required.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and adjust to last minute changes.
• Knowledge of current pop culture is essential: music, television, film, reality, and human interest guests.
• Familiarity with Last Call's current documentary style format and knowledge of types of guests which are featured on the program.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Position will include daily updates to senior staff and producers - MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER.
