Sr. Producer for Online Video Programming

This is a Full Time Job

We're currently on the hunt for a full time producer for a new YOUTH ORIENTED online video channel. We're developing a slate of all new digital programming starting off with an urban based gossip news show. Think Politically Incorrect meets ESPN's Pardon The Interruption geared towards a multicultural 13-34 fan base. The show will cover a wide variety of entertainment; music, sports, TV/Movies, etc. We want to innovate, engage and get fans talking! That's where YOU come in! We need a producer that can come in and hit the ground running. We have a hard deadline for launch on each of these new shows so we need someone that can come in with fresh ideas to help craft and shape the programming, cast talent, set up edit and post schedules, and help with filling out the rest of our staff. Once the channel is underway, you'll be responsible for making sure the look, feel and style of the shows are consistent and will be accountable for delivering content on time. Candidates must have at least three years production experience and the ideal person would have an emphasis in creating short format content with a slant towards social media integration for the youth audience. PRIOR WEB/DIGITAL PRODUCTION OR DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Other requirements:
Experience in all areas of production (sound, lighting, video), directing and interacting with host as well as guest talent, comfortable shooting with HD/HDSLR cameras, knowledgeable and proficient in Final Cut Pro, Photoshop. Should have experience scheduling talent and field/studio crews as well as overseeing post staff.
