Account Supervisor

PMK * BNC New York is seeking an Account Supervisor for our Brand Communications division, to work within the media relations group on top-tier, national accounts. The Account Supervisor will be responsible for:

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Execute traditional public relations campaigns, including identifying, writing and pitching stories and news to media, blogs, and influencers
• Use creativity to help develop results-driven public relations programs that fit into the client’s overall objectives
• Build and maintain relationships with reporters, bloggers and online influencers
• Work with internal teams across a variety of clients
• Research, understand, and experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media to achieve objectives and goals
• Supervise a team of mid and junior level media relations professionals

Requirements:
• 6+ years in a PR Agency
• Experience in developing media strategies, identifying story angles, writing releases and securing top tier coverage for clients
• Understanding in the evolving media landscape, social media, and emerging techniques and platforms
• Ability to manage a project, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks at the same time
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills are a must
