Account Manager - Temporary

TakePart, the web's #1 pro-social media brand and digital arm of Participant Media, the entertainment company behind ground breaking documentary and narrative features such as Syriana, Food Inc, Inconvenient Truth, and The Help, is seeking help to support our cause marketing services business. TakePart's services include everything from content creation to overall cause campaign strategy and execution for its pro-social brand and non-profit clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with brands like Intel, Starbucks, HISTORY, etc., who are doing their part to make the world a better place!

The Account Manager will have the following mission critical responsibilities:
• Support Director of Business Development in preparation of new client pitches and execution of client projects
• Collaborate with broader team on incorporation of non-profit outreach and activation in client projects; identify appropriate non-profit partners for client programs
• Internally manage project delivery on various non-profit services projects, including both paid and unpaid services; paid services will often include video production
• Coordinate with TakePart com editorial team and TakePart TV (YouTube) team to make sure that non-profit needs are being met

The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:
• Experience managing client relations (i.e.; as Account Manager at an agency or in-house)
• Minimum of 3 years of digital media experience
• Familiarity with video production processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Existing relationships with NGO's a plus
• Passion for fostering and maintaining great relationship, high level of comfort pitching on the phone and being a company/brand evangelist
• Willingness to work as a contractor with potential for future full-time placement
