Intern - Public Relations

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

LAPR is a full service PR agency, working with talent, brands, events, personalities, gifting, media and social media marketing.
LAPR is looking for interns who want to learn how to take a client from A-Z, using out of the box thinking to gain the maximum exposure and results increasing brand recognition. This will be done through press, radio and television, social media, attending high profile events, writing press releases, media alerts and other PR strategies.
The interns responsibilities will be to talk to clients, scheduling, attend events, help with event co-ordination, write press releases, pitch to the media, respond to email requests, product placement, search the web for pictures and press on clients, create press kits, answer the phone, type letters, attend meetings, social media ie; facebook updates and twitter; introduce clients on the red carpet at events, be present at shoots, set up interviews and learn the tools of an account executive. I'm looking for someone to become a paid employee after their internship.
