Associate Producer

Revision3, the leading special interest video network, is looking for an Associate Producer for a new tech channel in development. This position will assist in all aspects of show production for an online daily show. The ideal candidate must be an avid tech enthusiast, self-starter, highly creative, able to work independently, take direction and be detail oriented. This candidate must also possess strong technical familiarity and understanding of consumer electronics, including PC's, Mac's, Web technologies, mobile devices, and tech lingo. This is a 12-month contract position based in San Francisco.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Produce, create and edit segments as assigned
• Assist in production shooting, post production, and delivery
• Assist in writing and editing scripts and show notes
• Book contributors, guests and product for review
• Coordinate production schedules/calendars
• Assist with production staff and interns
• Assist with talent and contractors
• Ability to a-roll and prep media for post production

Required Skills:
• Minimum 2 years experience in producing TV and/or Video content
• Strong technical understanding of Windows, Mac and Web based products and technologies
• Knowledge of FCP and/or Adobe Premier
• Must be highly creative and proactive
• Ability to take direction and complete projects
• Must possess the ability to work independently
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must possess strong organization skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Able to work extended hours as necessary
• Familiar and confident with camera operation
• Familiar and confident with control room operations
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
