Assignment Editor

CBS-58 seeks an Assignment Editor to join our team. Must have assertive newsroom skills including strong news judgment and ability to determine editorial content of newscast on a daily basis. Candidate should have excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to function effectively to generate story ideas, monitor scanner traffic, manage daily assignments and update our station website. Must be able to handle a high pressure environment and multiple tasks under strict guidelines. EOE
