Confidential digital content startup interested in hiring HEAD WRITER. The head writer is responsible for all content on original programming as well delivery of copy for all up-to-the minute breaking news for news programming segments, which post 3x daily. The head writer will also overs creative elements of post-production, ensuring the creative pops in each show.
Head writer has to understand and be in tune with millennial and be able to reach the internet- savvy viewer.
The head writer will have a researcher/writer who will assist in sourcing and writing stories. The head writer will also work closely with the AP, ensuring copy and stories are delivered in a production-conscious fashion, at the AP's direction.
This role is for NYC Area.
The head writer will be active across all social streams, tweeting, posting, pinning, etc.
