Confidential digital content startup interested in hiring CURATION AND TALENT COORDINATOR. The role has dual responsibilities. Content focus is youth news programming.
The first is to act as a Curator; highlighting and tagging relevant videos that will surround our Original Content. This means having an eye for and acquiring relevant and high-quality video content from all across the web. This role is basically to act like an Editor at a magazine, sifting through mass amounts content to find the most relevant and 'above the fold' material to our viewers.
The second is to act as a Talent Liaison; seeking, cultivating and maintaining relationships with Talent (on camera or behind camera) and providing guidance, resources, and access to the Talent where needed. While we will have two types of talent - in house and freelance - this role will work primarily with the freelance talent. The goal here is to help strengthen ties with and grow the audiences of promising contributors, while ultimately keeping the Contributors excited and a part of the team.
This role is for NYC Area.
This role reports to the EP/Head of Programming.
