MediaRecall by Deluxe is looking for highly organized and technical savvy individuals for a three to five year high volume ingest project in the New York area. This is a full time position at a location yet to be determined. A background in post production tape operation and a familiarity with a number of tape formats and VTRs is required. We are looking to fill multiple positions and multiple shifts beginning early to mid June.

The job will involve operational preparation of client's video material in current SD and HD formats as well as prep work involving legacy formats including but not limited to 1'', 3/4'', Betacam, and other formats. A working knowledge of Mac and PC operating systems, various applications and hardware related to video tape ingest and knowledge of both analog and digital video signal paths is required. Operational knowledge of video playback equipment as well as standards like PAL and NTSC is required. Previous video ingest experience is a plus.

Ability to organize multiple physical assets, juggle multiple tasks and changing work processes is needed. As well, you must be able to judge when a source video has an issue; or when there is a possible machine malfunction causing a quality issue with the ingest. You must be able to articulate problems clearly, have a client service mentality in all interactions, and be solution-driven.
