Running Subway Productions is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their Marketing team. This position’s primary responsibility is to develop, pursue, secure and execute multi-platform promotional partnerships and to develop, negotiate and execute media plans for the company’s projects, the majority of which are currently focused Discovery Times Square and its current/upcoming exhibitions. Additional responsibilities include assistance with execution of strategic marketing plans, daily reporting, sponsor liaison, budget tracking and creative agency management.
Desired Qualifications:
• Minimum BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related discipline
• 1-3 years marketing experience, include developing and implementing marketing programs and materials
• Media agency experience a plus
• Basic knowledge of advertising principles, strategies and techniques
• Strong communications, interpersonal, creative and analytical skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
• Candidate will have strong analytical, negotiating, and interpersonal skills along with excellent written and presentation skills.
• Develop promotional plans for various productions, including identify complementary opportunities, coordinate advertising and promotion activities to support productions, monitor resulting ticket sales and evaluate program success
• Assist Marketing Director in developing, negotiating and media plan, promotions and added- value programs
• Serve as sponsor liaison, executing marketing partnerships and promotional programs
• Work with graphic designers to implement and oversee creation of advertising materials including creative, branding materials, copywriting, design, layout and production to maintain quality, brand guideline compliant materials
• Processes invoices on a weekly basis and track budgets
• Prepares and formats ticket sales reports using data gathering techniques and established tracking standards
• Oversees Box Office programming of hours, group sales programs, discounts and ticket packages for multiple projects
• Provides additional support to other marketing department initiatives including group sales and special events
