Media Relations Freelancer

This is a Full Time Job

PMK * BNC is seeking a media relations freelancer with experience in the Hispanic market to work on a one-month project in January (1-31).

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Execute traditional public relations campaigns, including identifying, writing and pitching stories and news to spanish speaking media, blogs, and influencers in the Hispanic market
• Use creativity to help develop results-driven marketing and public relations programs that fit into the client’s overall objectives
• Leverage celebrity appearances to generate media buzz around select retail locations
• Build and maintain relationships with spanish speaking reporters, bloggers and online influencers in the Hispanic market
• Partner with internal team to ensure client’s goals are met

Requirements:
• 4+ years of public relations agency experience
• Past experience in Hispanic markets and spanish speaking media contacts
• Ability to travel to major markets nationally
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage a project, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks at the same
• High proficiency in the complete Microsoft Office suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and excellent understanding of utilizing online and network-based tools for research purposes
