PHP Programmer - Film Website

This is a Part Time Job

Script Pipeline, a filmmaker and screenwriting resource company, is seeking a PHP programmer to handle website updates, maintenance, and other related tasks.

This is a freelance position for those based specifically in the Chicago area. The programmer will be working directly with our team there, as well as remotely (through E-mail mainly) with our executive staff in Los Angeles. Please no out-of-state or out-of-country applicants.

Duties include designing and engineering custom internet applications, content management systems, and eCommerce, in addition to other assignments as we expand and refine our site. Preference will be given to those with extensive PHP knowledge and previous experience in troubleshooting and creating advanced PHP websites.

REQUIREMENTS:

--Fully proficient in LAMP systems
--A minimum of 3 years PHP experience
--Other languages needed: JavaScript, JSP (java server page), CSS, XML, HTML, MySQL, MSSQL, and (preferable, but not required) ColdFusion
--Although freelance, competency in working under very strict deadlines
--Extremely high communication skills
--Ability to work independently and meet in-person at least once a week near downtown Chicago

PREFERRED:

--Graphics experience: especially Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash.
Others: InDesign, PageMaker, Illustrator, FrontPage.
