Intern - Development

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Job Description: Apostle is a film and television production company owned by actor/comedian Denis Leary and producer Jim Serpico. The internship is primarily production/development based and Interns will work alongside producers and staff. Tasks will vary daily but will include:

Reading Scripts/summaries/literature and writing coverage Research related to Projects General administrative responsibilities (runs, phones, office, etc.)

Apostle is currently executing an exclusive deal to develop projects for Sony Pictures. Current television projects include Rescue Me the firefighter series for FX, the development of several TV pilots for major networks such as USA, CBS, FOX, and FX, the recently completed FOX series Canterbury's Law starring Julianna Margulies, an animated project for VH1, and several online series. We are currently developing both independent and studio features. Past films include Blow starring Johnny Depp for New Line, Monument Ave for Lions Gate with a Sundance Film Festival premiere, amongst many other projects (documentaries, drama, comedy and thriller genre) currently in development.

HOURS: Two days per week (days are flexible). 10:30A - 6:30P.

REQUIREMENTS: Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills, relaxed attitude, some PC work. Students receiving credit for the internship are preferred.
