The Director of Digital Promotion and Online Marketing creates on-line promotional strategies for Cashmere Agency clients. The ideal candidate is a passionate music fan who can design and implement effective campaigns to service all areas of an artist’s career and is familiar with different creative stages of the artist development cycle from awareness for developing new acts, to maximizing revenue for superstar artists. The ideal candidate will know exactly what sites to work with at present and in the near future, and is always aware of what other artists are doing to further their careers online.
Responsibilities:
• Create online marketing and promotion strategies for artists and brands on the Cashmere Agency roster
• Pitch websites, big and small, when working with our artists and brands to achieve targeted goals
• Discover new sites and outlets to promote our artists and brands and maintain relationships with existing sites and partners
• Measure and analyze campaign performance and provide insights and become familiar with other departments
• Access effectiveness of various promotional outlets on sales, traffic, and engagement
• Proactively develop and cultivate relationships with key artists, management, and digital ecosystem partners
• Obtain approvals from artists' managers, brand managers and coordinate with Business Affairs for all legal documentation
• Coordinate with various Cashmere Agency departments: Street Marketing, Radio Promotion, Publicity, International, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, and also it’s sister company Stampede Management
Skills Required:
• The Director of Digital Promotion and Online Marketing is a digital marketer who works with a talented team of new media experts.
• Communication skills are an absolute necessity.
• You must thrive in a team environment, but be able to take initiative and get jobs done efficiently.
• Must possess the ability to manage a complex campaign across multiple divisions.
• You must have at least 2 years experience in online marketing in music and hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
