MCR Broadcast Technician – NOC

JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN FOR NETWORK OPERATING CENTER (NOC) (Job#1090)

Duties:
• Master Control Operator in KOMO TV's Network Operating Center - a centralized broadcast environment operating multiple stations
• Assist in technical and production requirements for on-air programming
• Video Tape Operator in KOMO TV's NOC – includes ingesting to server

Qualifications:
• Experience in a 24/7 Master Control operation
• Flexibility to work various days and shifts as assigned
• Ability to work effectively with other team members and independently
• Server operation experience
• Satellite/Pathfire/DG System Operation experience
• Videotape operation experience
• Detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a centralized, multi-stream NOC environment
• Studio experience, including studio and robotic camera experience, audio and technical directing
• Experience using Sundance Automation

Essential Functions:
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to type and work on computers
• Ability to speak clearly
• Ability to work under pressure and without direct supervision
