Primary Responsibility: Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Business Acquisitions and Accounting the position of Manager, Worldwide Business Operations supports operations profitability by providing support and recommendation on performance measures, consulting on financial understanding of the business and acting as a business strategist to help identify opportunities for improved financial results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating inputs to/and creation of Greenlight/Ultimates involving complex DVD deal analysis. Working closely with Sales Planning performs annual and ad-hoc Greenlight/Ultimate updates and impairment analysis. Maintain and closely monitor ABE’s cash-out acquisitions schedule. Month-end financial analysis of overseas operations. Liaise with Accounting to resolve month-end issues. Perform multi-territory annual budgeting and monthly forecasting. Coordinate between business management and field sales to plan optimal planogram/reset trade activity to meet plan goals. Development and compilation of retail marketing presentations. SKU and manufacturing/distribution configuration management and analysis. Program and account level tracking, management and analysis. Operating forecast, budget, management reporting at a micro level (account, title and program specific). Inform Sr. Mgmt. of trends in business activity (retail account specific) which may affect profitability and provide recommendations for action (post mortem and proactive account and title level programs and sales terms). Recommend improvements to account specific retail marketing programs and identify leveraging opportunities to expand across multiple accounts, domestically and internationally. Prior entertainment experience; Greenlight/Ultimate experience in a studio DVD environment. BA/BS from a four-year college or university in Finance, Accounting, or General Business or equivalent experience. Five+ years Home Entertainment operations and sales planning experience (domestic and International). Have working knowledge of relational database (data warehouse) queries and reporting. Have comprehensive understanding of profit and loss drivers. Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Knowledge of fiscal management, human resource management, and office management techniques.
