Marketing Internship With Boutique Ad Agency (unpaid)

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

BARU Advertising is a full-service boutique marketing agency in Los Angeles, specializing in entertainment, consumer packaged goods, and lifestyle marketing. We are seeking a qualified intern with an interest in marketing and media for our Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assisting media and marketing team
* Provide administrative support
* Researching events
* Help build media templates on Excel
* Responding to media requests
* Brainstorming
* Pitching/following-up with media and promotional partners
* Maintaining/updating media lists
* Monitoring and researching new media and marketing trends
* Organizing internal media and marketing materials

Requirements
All candidates MUST be bilingual (Spanish and English) with experience and/or interest in pursuing a career in marketing or communications. Current college students must be in their junior/senior year to be considered. The applicant should possess excellent writing and communications skills, be detail oriented, organized, personable and be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel), as well as be Social Networking/Internet savvy.
Intern must be willing to commit a minimum of 3 days a week. Hours are 10am-6pm and we are located in the heart of the Melrose Strip.
