Accounting Intern - Music Industry

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Successful Independent Record Label and Artist Management Company is looking for an intern to help in the accounting department. This is an opportunity to learn accounts payable, account analysis, business management and music industry accounting.

The ideal person should be currently enrolled in college studying accounting, well organized, hard working, love music, and want to work in an open creative environment.

Requirements:
• Ability to work independently and take initiative as well as work closely with a group
• Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Professional demeanor in dealing with people and clients
• Must be discrete and maintain absolute confidentiality as this position regularly handles sensitive information.
• Must be able to interact with people of all levels within and outside the company with poise and professionalism.
• Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.
