Successful Independent Record Label and Artist Management Company is looking for an intern to help in all departments. This is an opportunity to learn Production, Radio, A&R, marketing, publicity, Licensing, New Media, and Video. We are an indie label and everyone contributes.
The ideal person should be well organized, hard working, love music, and want to learn everything they can about working within a record label.
Requirements:
• Strong desire to work in the music industry
• Ability to work independently and take initiative as well as work closely with a group
• Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong written and verbal skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Professional demeanor in dealing with people and clients
• Must be discrete and maintain absolute confidentiality as this position regularly handles sensitive information.
• Must be able to interact with people of all levels within and outside the company with poise and professionalism.
• Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.
