Pressman Film is an innovative, established film production company, which produces around 2 films per year. The company was founded by producer Edward R. Pressman, who has produced such classics as “Badlands,” “Conan the Barbarian,” “Wall Street,” “The Crow,” “American Psycho,” and “The Cooler” starring William H. Macy and Alec Baldwin. Recent projects include “Thank You for Smoking,” starring Aaron Eckhart, Katie Holmes, Maria Bello, William H. Macy and Robert Duvall, “Fur,” directed by Stephen Shainberg starring Nicole Kidman and Robert Downey, Jr., and “Amazing Grace,” directed by Michael Apted starring Ioan Gruffudd and Albert Finney. Upcoming releases include “Mutant Chronicles” directed by Simon Hunter and starring Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman, and John Malkovich and Werner Herzog’s “The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans” starring Nicolas Cage. We have many exciting projects scheduled to begin production in the coming year, as well as in development.
Interns’ main responsibilities include reading scripts, writing coverage and assisting with current productions and development, as well as standard office duties. Pressman Film is the perfect place to learn about the inner workings of a script from inception through production.
