The CW Network, LLC seeks a Finance Coordinator for the CW Plus! Finance & Administration department. Position will manage the daily finance, traffic, sales and administrative operation of The CW Plus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the monthly billing for The CW Plus national advertising sales, and for all national sales activity for markets trafficked out of Burbank office.
Responsible for all collection activity for The CW Plus national business, as well as for national business in markets trafficked out of Burbank. Prepare cash deposits, perform and verify cash applications in both BMS and NOVAR traffic systems. Report on receivable aging to management.
Research and monitor credit information on agencies, clients and other vendors. Report to management on credit issues or potential problem accounts. Make write-off recommendations. Initiate collection process with collection agency as needed. Work with RMS to generate collection letters.
Generate a special invoice run for The CW Plus Programming Fee invoices. Post all monies and handle collections for those fees.
Provide a monthly status report of accounts to supervisor.
Create, monitor, and maintain CW PLUS shopping carts in SAP system.
Create all PO’s for Department.
Code invoices; create new vendors; research and resolve account issues with vendors.
Monitor and reconcile department Purchasing Cards. Submit coding and documents to Warner Bros. purchasing department on regular and timely basis.
Receive and record daily cash deposits. Maintain check registers. Copy and file deposits and backup material as needed.
Create and mail past due dunning letters and make collection calls as directed by supervisor.
Create and mail duplicate invoices as requested by agencies and vendors.
Coordinate mailing of confirmations and invoices on weekly and monthly basis.
Provide other reports and/or financial analyses as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
BA degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent PC skills. Knowledge of billing systems or other accounting software.
Experience with BMS, NOVAR, or other broadcast related traffic systems.
Experience in Broadcast sales administration.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Entertainment industry experience a plus.
Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail, and understand written or verbal instruction.
Must be able to problem solve in time sensitive situations.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers, affiliates, clients, and other levels of personnel.
Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
Must be a team player.
