Universal Music Group is currently seeking a Manager of Artist Royalties for the Universal City, CA location.
Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely processing and review of artist royalty statements.
Review input into royalty system.
Train and supervise staff.
Oversee and coordinate detailed research royalty projects.
Monthly G/L financial reporting.
Research and responding to inquiries as needed.
Outstanding projects related to various artists.
Assist with conversion to new royalty system as needed.
Requirements:
Experience in interpreting artist contracts and processing royalty statements.
Four year college degree in business.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Ability to identify and solve problems.
Ability to manage effectively 3 or more royalty analysts.
Working knowledge of P.C. and mainframe computer systems
