Immediate opening at a Entertainment boutique firm. We are seeking an ambitious candidate to work as an publicist assistant. Successful candidates will be highly motivated and extremely detail oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills. You will also need to be articulate, polished, professional, possess a high level of initiative and interested in becoming an publicist . This position requires a strong writer and knowledge of how to write press releases and bio's. This position requires the ability to shift priorities quickly in response to changing circumstances, remaining flexible, calm and focused while multi-tasking at a fast pace. They person should know a lot about women's fashion. You must be thick skinned and avail to work long hours and weekends.
Initial placement will be as reception/pr assistant/office manager with lots of room for growth.
Applicants must have strong communication skills, professional phone manner, and a “can do” attitude. Applicants must be able to meet deadlines as well as multi-task. Applicant must have own car and insurance. Prior agency experience is preferred. Punctuality is essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet research is required.
