Graphic Design Internship

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Top level film production and distribution company is currently seeking a hard-working, organized, enthusiastic and creative aspiring graphic designer to create digital and print content for various theatrical releases. Selected intern will have adequate design & print experience and possess strong typography and layout skills. Additionally, he/she have a can-do attitude, be able to work on deadlines, and available to start ASAP. Great opportunity to create/build a portfolio; work will be credited wherever possible. This internship will give the intern valuable real-world entertainment experience in print, web and creative design, as well as provide the Art Director with additional manpower.

The qualified intern will be given flexibility with regard to schedule but will be expected to work an average of 10-15 hours a week. Those hours may be worked in any combination at the discretion of the intern and the supervisor. Class credit also provided.

Projects can include:

*Creation of marketing and promotional materials, DVD covers and online collateral; will also will assist in photograph re-touching.

*Maintenance/layout design for online social media.

*Assistance in the creation of logos, artwork and design for press kits, etc.

Job Requirements:

Must be web and tech savvy, able to work independently and on deadline.

*Must have Laptop/Mac with wireless access and relevant software; Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign are an absolute must. Flash, Final Cut Pro, Dreamweaver competence is a huge plus.
*Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.

The intern is considered an integral part of the Art department and as such, their ideas and input will be valued. All interested candidates should provide a resume AND a PDF or URL with strong work samples for their portfolio.
