Campus Lifestyle Marketing Rep Intern

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Introducing ourselves:
Wunder Boy Records is an independent record label with a roster of current artists that are local and nationwide. Wunder Boy Records is a division Wunder Boy Music Company and Morrell Media Group, Inc. in Westlake Village, CA .

Job duties:
• Assist in preparation of new release solicitation tools.
• Maintaining database of clients
• Assist in creating marketing plans for lifestyle reps.
• Identify relevant shows in rep markets to target
• Market research of college / local media, lifestyle accounts and retail and in the rep markets.

Various functions and activities of the department and any related departments to which the intern will be exposed and/or instructed.
• Artist development
• Lifestyle marketing
• Sales / Marketing
Skills students will gain from the internship:
• They will see marketing campaigns from point of inception to execution.
• Learn how an artist is developed and be involved in the process.
• How to have an influence on a grass roots level by targeting lifestyle marketing.
• Be able to identify drivers in a market that they can then use to create marketing campaigns and promotions.

Job requirements:
• Strong computer skills. (graphic and excel skill preferred)
• Interest in music, marketing, sales
• Ability to navigate the internet
• Desire to gain knowledge of lifestyle marketing and the world on Indie music.
• Have own computer and needed applications
