The Web Files and SP Write, LLC is seeking a production intern for 2nd Semester beginning in January 2010.
About the show: In a crowded field where new web series seem to pop up daily, The Web Files stands alone as the first entertainment talk show to cover the “Web Celebs” who create them. Hosted by entertainment reporter, Kristyn Burtt, join us each Wednesday as we uncover the latest scoop from new media creators. Currently running on Blip TV, the show continues to be the only one of its kind in the web series industry.
Production Intern Details:
-Preferably a film, communications, or TV production student.
-Able to work 10-20 hours a week on set and in the office. You will be able to do some work at home, but will be required to work out of the Encino or Studio City locations from time to time.
-Excellent social media (Twitter/Facebook), marketing, and PR skills.
-Able to communicate clearly and professionally with industry people via phone and email.
-Willing to PA on set when available.
-Be interested in the expanding world of web series and new media.
-Have a reliable form of transportation.
-Be on time, responsible, and ready to have fun!
School credit is available. We will be conducting interviews in mid-November.
