Shooter/Editor
West LA-based media company is looking for a full-time producer / shooter / editor for news, reality and scripted video content targeting the gay and lesbian audience. Must be capable of single-handedly producing, shooting, editing and delivering professional quality web and broadcast content, including fully packaged newsmagazine segments. Must be capable of managing a variety of production situations including solo field shoots, live streaming broadcasts and remote interviews. Newsmagazine production experience is necessary.
Candidate must have 3+ years of experience prepping, lighting, shooting, editing and delivering quality video content. Must be very familiar with the Panasonic DVX-100 and other prosumer cameras. Must be comfortable with writing / shaping news and voice over scripts, as well as have the ability to research, access and integrate third-party photo, video and audio assets.
Strong working knowledge of delivery specs for web and broadcast is required, as is skill with graphics, packaging, and post-production software including Final Cut Studio and After Effects.
We're looking for a highly-organized, creative multi-tasker who can manage tight deadlines and who can arrange and manage a variety of production scenarios both in-studio and in the field.
