Job Description: NorthSouth Productions, a fast-growing independent television production company, is looking for smart, proactive, organized, able-minded research/development interns for our busy New York office.
Responsibilities include development of new projects, casting assistance, research, writing treatments, cold-calling and outreach.
Job Requirements: Applicants should have a desire to learn more about television, have excellent phone and computer skills, be hardworking, efficient, and quick to learn. This is an unpaid position (we provide a small stipend) for which credit can be received and which could eventually lead to a paid PA position on one of our productions.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to work on some great new projects for networks such as Discovery Channel, WEtv, History, A&E, National Geographic and Speed and those who want to learn more about all facets of television production.
