Boutique post-production company is seeking a PR intern. We specialize in long and short form editorial, sound design, color correction and visual effects for advertising agencies (ie, TV commercials), independent and feature films, and music videos.
This is an ideal position for a college junior or senior looking for hands-on PR experience with an entertainment twist. The intern will work hand-in-hand with the director of marketing and have the opportunity to hone their skills as a publicist.
Day to day activities include:
-Writing press releases and pitches
-Developing targeted media lists
-Reading specific media outlets and reporting on current trends
Candidate must be a public relations or marketing major, with the knowledge of how to write a proper press release. Previous PR experience is a plus. The position requires 2 days per week. This is an internship for possible school credit. This is an unpaid internship.
