*Please note this position is contract – 3 to 6 months.
The Digital Content Delivery division of Technicolor is ushering in a new generation of content services for music, movies, games and software over a myriad of distribution channels (broadcast, broadband, and physical disc). We are searching for a Sr. Project Management professional to manage the the launch of new service line offerings and create the operational processes and hand-off to support the ongoing management of related projects.
• Launch new service line initiatives by leading a cross-departmental project team and coordinating with third party partners
• Identify, trouble shoot and facilitate quick resolution of operational and customer impacting issues that may arise.
• Provide accurate and timely updates to management and impacted cross-functional departments.
• Own risk mitigation and management process.
• Analyze workflow bottlenecks and streamline processes through establishing policies and procedures and system enhancements, as needed.
• Develop and maintain standard project documentation such as project plans, agendas, action items lists, business rules/requirements, process flows, test cases, etc.
• Prepare launch go/no go checklists, confirm requirements drafted by product management, and create contingency plans.
• Assist in the definition of required skill-set and operational infrastructure capabilities to support new service introductions.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree - and 5-7 years relevant experience (large-scale, multi-disciplinary, project management, internet, content delivery, entertainment content distribution or related industry experience) required
• Ideal candidate will have experience in the media/entertainment industry and possess a PMP certification.
• Ability to effectively operate within diverse and cross-functional groups
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including a qualitative and quantitative skill set
• Leadership qualities, including meeting facilitation, time management, organizational skills and ability to influence others
• Demonstrated success in managing large and small teams alike
• Demonstrated aptitude for analyzing complex issues and developing the appropriate solutions
• Flexibility and the ability to accommodate change
• Management Consulting background preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency: PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Word
• Excellent social/soft-skills
• Good understanding of a range of modern technology and internet industry
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Occasional travel required
