Vendome Pictures seeks interns who want to learn about the film industry in a new, well connected financier/production company. Vendome is new film fund founded by French producer Philippe Rousselet (Lord of War). The company will finance and produce 2-3 movies a year in the 10-45 million dollar budget range. Interns work closely with the creative executives and are active participants in weekly staff meetings and discussions about incoming material and projects in development. Duties primarily entail reading scripts and providing coverage. Interns are also responsible for light admin work (answering telephone, photocopying, filing, etc.) and project research. The ideal candidate should like to read and analyze scripts, have strong writing/analytical skills, and have strong computer skills. A commitment of 2 days per week and a laptop are required.
The company is small but aggressive which allows for a lot of creative growth and participation.
Vendome is located in Beverly Hills.
