Integration Technician

TZOLKIN ENTERPRISES is a media services company that helps its clients achieve their production and broadcast goals. Whether it’s design, installation and integration, or creative services, we use our skill and knowledge to provide quality services in the most professional manner.

We are currently looking for individuals to assist with our integration services. Ideal candidate will have previous experience working with audio, video and network equipment and related devices. Specifically, they should know how to fabricate cables for interconnecting such equipment. A basic understanding of how these devices and cables are used to connect to one another must also be demonstrated. Individuals should posses all the required [hand] tools to perform the tasks listed above, including but not limited to; cutters, strippers, various crimpers and screwdrivers, testers, multimeters. The ability to read and understand technical drawings is also very helpful. Candidates must be comfortable and careful working in “ON AIR” environments and machine rooms located at our client’s broadcast and production facilities. In doing so, individuals must be able to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner with respect for our clients and their employees. The ability to work under little or no supervision is of utmost importance.

Please be aware that this is a full-time, contract position. A job (8hrs/day) can last anywhere from a week to a few months, depending on our client’s needs and/or scope of the individual project. Most jobs are on-site at various locations in and around the Los Angeles area. This is an excellent opportunity for freelancers or retired individuals who have blocks of free time.
