Coordinator, Creative Operations
Responsible for creative operations and production to support EMI Label Services and design of associated tools for Astralwerks and Mute labels
Key deliverables:
New Release Planning
•Provides pre-production support for the delivery of artwork elements for physical & digital new releases
•Working with outside designers for the third party labels providing creative & technical direction to achieve proper artwork file delivery.
•Trafficking all artwork from the label designer to separator to printer or direct from designer to printer.
•Flight checking all artwork files prior to file delivery via Spinnaker and/or WamNet
•Trouble shooting all artwork issues with printer & label designer.
•Coordinate, proof one-sheets from third party labels for the New Release Book
•Provide artwork assistance for one-sheets, conversions and stickers
•Artwork storage
Operations
•Provide creative operation coordination for artwork assets
•Upload and download artwork assets on Medware;
•Prepare packshots for digital releases and packaging for International exploitation
•Repurposing delivered files to create final files for delivery for international releases
•B2B artwork administrator
Design
•Create graphic assets used in print, promotional, marketing and sales campaigns
•Merchandising items such as download cards, flyers, posters, stickers
•Create print ads for various to support initiatives by Marketing and Sales department
•Promotional Packaging (samplers, remixes, etc)
•Develop digital packshots from cover shots
Print Production
•Oversee the production of point of purchase items
•POP delivery and logistics

•Involve other departments as needed to achieve goals

•Maintain relationships built on collaboration and two-way communication. This includes external business partners such as artists, managers, publications and vendors
•Develops an effective communication standard for internal departments
Technical/Professional Expertise
•Continually expand technical expertise and professional knowledge to support company goals and initiatives
•Attend training as needed
Other Specific Requirements
Essential
•Assertive and forward-thinking
•Ability to tackle assigned challenges and also identify new opportunities for the business
•Experience in graphic design/art direction, with an emphasis in retail. Photo art direction experience, a plus.
•Proficiency in PhotoShop, Illustrator and Quark or InDesign on the Macintosh platform
•Excellent communication and organizational skills
•Thorough attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Desirable
•Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, Art
