Director of Video Operations

LFP Video, Inc. is looking for a creative, motivated individual with strong communication and managerial skills to run its video operation.

Position directs all facets of video production and post production, as well as DVD creation, distribution, marketing, sales, and fulfillment.

Position oversees the following:
• Creative development of marketable video features to be exploited in online, broadcast, mobile, and DVD formats
• Directs production team in budget creation, crew and talent identification, and shoot schedules
• All post-production stages including editing, quality control, digital capture, dubbing, and standard and high def format conversions
• DVD production process including encoding, authoring, package design, printing, and replication in both standard and Blu Ray formats.
• Directs marketing team in creation of press releases, promotions, advertising, and publicity opportunities
• Directs graphic artists in creation of packaging, print ads, web advertising, and promotional materials
• Directs sales team in client relations and business development specific to the DVD marketplace
• Oversees warehouse operations, inventory control, and DVD billing and fulfillment procedures
• Directly responsible for identifying, drafting, and managing licensing and distribution agreements pertaining to video catalog and DVD titles
• Responsible for establishing a product release strategy and executing monthly and yearly sales goals

Qualifications
1. 4 year college degree preferred
2. Minimum 2 years operations experience in video production
3. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
4. Strong time management, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills; self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Experience in developing and reviewing contracts
