International TV production company seeks new Sales Manager for immediate placement. We have been in business for over 25 years, and we currently have dozens of clients syndicating our programs worldwide.
The new Sales Manager will need to manage accounts and contracts for all of our clients, as well as be familiar with legal paperwork and delegating responsibility. Also needs to be a quick learner who can easily become familiar with our system.
Any applicants need to be well-experienced in a sales and managerial environment. Please do NOT apply if you have less than 2 years of experience in the field of Television sales. This is NOT an entry-level position. This can be an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual who seeks a long-term job in the field of television sales and business development.
Opportunities also exists for commission on new sales.
Duties include:
• Maintaining current client relationships
• Establishing relationships with new clients
• Keeping on top of invoice schedules and chasing overdue payments
• Keeping our promotional material up-to-date
• Negotiate license fees
• Manage over other sales employee
Requirements:
• 2 years TV sales experience
• Ability to handle and delegate responsibility
• Ability to commit the job on short notice and learn the ins-and-outs quickly
• Knowledge of the current international television market is also preferred
