Universal Music Group is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for the Santa Monica, CA location.
Overview:
This position is responsible for processing travel invoices for all UMG business units in a timely and efficient manner as well as enforcing all UMG Corporate accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate must be hard-working, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and will contribute to a positive team environment.
Responsibilities:
•Coding and processing of travel related invoices.
•Research and resolution of travel related exceptions with the in-house travel agency and operating companies.
•Liaison with UMG vendor contacts regarding dispute and discrepancy resolution.
•Vendor maintenance for travel related vendors as well as setup for direct billing hotel accounts.
•Responsible for reconciling and uploading the weekly AMEX airfare upload; this includes researching incorrect coding, PO’s that are short and sending coding corrections to BCD.
•Special projects as needed.
Skills and Requirements:
•Accounting and Data Entry Experience.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment. Must be able to work under time constraints.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel, including label Executives and outside vendors.
•Ability to keep information confidential.
•Must be self-directed and extremely well organized.
