Post Artists of Every Type

I'm producing a film about Bill Laswell's new band Method of Defiance, featuring Bernie Worrell, DJ Krush and others. We can take all manner of creative liberty -- and the director, David Sauvage, is looking to do a hybrid, multi-genre piece with animation, documentary, music video and any possible manner of visual art. The only constraint is the deadline: South by Southwest’s submission deadline for a rough cut on December 11.

Bill Laswell takes artists from vastly different genres, lets them loose, and sees what happens. We want to do the same with this film. We want artists to take our footage and the band's music and riff, in their own style, or a style they dream up. They'll be a part of the editing process from the beginning, in a maximally collaborative, minimally controlled way.

We're in search of an editor, as well as animators and artists, and a post-house to put it all together. Editors and/or post-houses must be in New York and/or Los Angeles . Animators or artists can be from anywhere in the world.
