Job Description: The Artivist Film Festival is seeking a dynamic and experienced Festival & Audience Development Director for this year’s Artivist Programs.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced leader who enjoys working with time-lines & deadlines, is a creative brain-stormer, and can juggle audience development goals with staff management. OPTIMISTIC LEADERSHIP IS REQUIRED.
This position requires a strategic producer who can lead a large team of people, is optimistic and uplifting under deadline pressures, can produce results immediately, and has extensive experience in attracting and engaging Film Festival Audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED! (only apply if you meet all of these requirements!)
Summary of Qualifications:
1) Extensive experience in Audience Development for Films and/or Film Festivals.
2) Experience implementing creative marketing strategies to build audiences.
3) Experience working with Filmmakers.
4) Experience working with NGOs.
5) Extensive relationships within the “Progressive Community” and with NGOs.
6) Experience working with local organizations on community events.
7) Professional and Amicable communication required at all times!
8) Excellent grammar, writing, and verbal skills required.
9) Must work productively independently, and in a large team.
10) Experience managing short notice projects successfully.
11) Experience providing leadership to large teams of Volunteers, Interns, and Staff.
12) Must have excellent time management and project management experience.
13) Must be Positive and Focused under pressure.
14) Must be flexible, easy to work with, responsible, dedicated, trustworthy, and posses the ability to always see “the big picture”.
