Director, Marketing

We are currently seeking a Director, Marketing. The individual will be responsible for directing and overseeing marketing functions and campaigns of the organization.

We are Nexon America Inc., the North American publishing arm of Nexon Group (1994), a pioneer of interactive entertainment software and the world’s leader in massive multiplayer online games which it developed and introduced in 1996.

Nexon America opened for business in Los Angeles in 2005 to bring the best of online entertainment to North American audiences. The company’s growing library of titles includes the world-famous franchise MapleStory, the online, the role playing fantasy life of Mabinogi and the online multiplayer first-person shooter Combat Arms.


Responsibilities:
• Oversee integrated marketing campaigns
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships
• Lead marketing team to maximize customer loyalty, branding, equity, revenue growth and profitability
• Direct marketing input into product design
• Accountable for product positioning, pricing, advertising and launches
• Work closely with directors and managers throughout the organization to ensure that marketing programs are well integrated into all aspects of operations and selling
• May plan and direct the organization’s presence at trade shows and expositions
• Hire, manage, and supervise third-party vendors; negotiate contracts to reduce costs and ensure high quality
• Project manage campaigns including budget and schedule
• Evaluate and propose new strategic and original marketing ideas

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Marketing preferred
• 10+ years marketing experience with increasing responsibility
• Strong project management skills
• Strong creativity skills
• Knowledge of gaming and entertainment industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
