Zeitgeist Films is seeking motivated, highly organized interns who have a strong passion for promoting independent and foreign films. We are looking to fill these internships for January.
As one of the last truly independent distribution companies, Zeitgeist has shepherded the U.S. releases of some of the most groundbreaking films of the past twenty years, including Todd Haynes’ Poison Olivier Assayas’ Irma Vep as well as works by other contemporary masters such as Guy Maddin, Nuri Bilge Ceylan and Jia Zhangke.
We are currently working on the film: Bill Cunningham New York so anyone with a side interest in fashion or street photography would be highly desirable.
Interns are actively involved in our grassroots marketing campaigns and in various administrative tasks such as shipping, website updating, running errands and general office tasks.
Keep in mind that we do expect at LEAST 20 hour a week commitment--preferably over the course of 3 workdays--a 4 month stay with
the company, and, unfortunately, we only offer a stipend for travel and food ($25 a day). We expect the intern to work the full workday (10am – 6pm).
Should you be interested in meeting with us for an interview, please let us know at your earliest convenience.
