Intern - Marketing/PR Assistant

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Urban Media TV intern will be the point person for organizing promotional campaigns. Duties will include but not be limited to corresponding with vendors and/or venue organizations regarding upcoming promotional events. Assist in planning new events to represent the Urban Media TV brand. Write commercial copy and on air mentions for events and network sponsors. Helping to plan and implement marketing plans for the UMTV brand including digital media design and plan development. Maintain and update all media contacts. Write and distribute press releases. Handle all media inquires.

Intern must be flexible and willing to work nights and weekends to facilitate UMTV promotional opportunities including listening parties, shows, fashion events, art opening, book signing and more.
