Position Overview:
The Researcher oversees all aspects of the day-to-day development and implementation of research support for Universal Sports in the disciplines of TV and digital media. The Researcher creates effective editorial communications and maintains consistent grammatical and factual accuracy in all copy and act as proofreader.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work in conjunction with Supervising Producers to develop and implement research initiatives, processes and tools that address challenges and assist in meeting goals
• Ensure editorial delivery is consistent with the strategy, time, cost and quality parameters
• Ensure accuracy in finished products
• Knowledge of all programming and athletes pertinent to USN including key storylines
• Maintain and build relationships with internal and external contacts and resources
• Meet tight and often times changing deadlines
• Resource for marketing and on air promo departments
• Work independently as well as in a team setting
• Miscellaneous projects and tasks as requested

Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in research field within a media/content organization
• Fluency in Olympic and endurance sports including athletes
• Minimum of undergraduate degree in media related field
