Associate Manager, Creative

Universal Music Group is currently seeking an Associate Manager, Creative under Rondor Music in our Santa Monica, CA office location.

Overview:
This position will report to the EVP of Creative, providing administrative support.

Responsibilities:
* Assist with our songwriter's, administration, scheduling sessions and setting up collaborations.
* Periodically will work as a scout for finding new talented songwriters.
* Answers phones and direct inquiries appropriately as needed for the EVP, Creative.
* Various reports and projects (Soundscan, Billboard, Mediabase).
* Online and offline research projects.
* Local data base song research (co-writers, publishers, splits)
* Complete travel and expense reports for EVP of Urban Music.
* Conference call scheduling.
* Cover letter writing and document distribution as needed for EVP, Creative.
* Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Skills and Requirements:
* Excellent organizational skills
* Knowledge of music publishing (preferred, but not required)
* Computer experience: Internet, PC, Mac, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, AS400.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to follow through on projects.
* Ability to work well with others.
* Attention to detail.
* Must be a team player
* Ability to keep information highly confidential
* Multitasking and assisting in various areas
