Intern - President of Production

This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship

TreeHouse Pictures seeks an intern to provide assistance to the President of Production. In addition to answering phones and managing his schedule, general office support will be required, but there is also enormous room for creative input and growth within the company.

Unlike most internships, where the interns sit in a copy room all day reading scripts and making coffee, this intern will get a crash course in being an Assistant to a Hollywood executive as well as an intimate understanding of the inner workings of a film financier/production company.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who understands that you get as much out of an internship as you put in. This is a demanding position and requires someone who is highly motivated and serious about pursuing a career in the film industry, but the rewards are invaluable.

TreeHouse Pictures is a film finance and production company with offices in Los Angeles and New York.

Recent credits include ARBITRAGE, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and will be released by Lionsgate/Roadside Attractions in 2012, UNTITLED RAMIN BAHRANI FILM, which stars Dennis Quaid and Zac Efron and is currently in post-production, and ADULT WORLD starring Emma Roberts and John Cusack, also in post-production.

Upcoming projects include ALL IS LOST, directed by J.C. Chandor and starring Robert Redford. Principal photography commences in June 2012. Lionsgate will release domestically.

In addition to the above-mentioned projects, TreeHouse Pictures has a full development slate and plans to finance 2-3 movies per year.
