Trailer Park is seeking candidates for a Social Media Manager position that will successfully manage current social media campaigns/projects, existing AOR relationships, as well as build strong, lasting relationships with clients and generate new business.
Candidates should demonstrate either agency or client side experience, and extensive knowledge of the social media online space- including existing (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Foursquare, Get Glue etc.) as well as emerging social platforms. 2-3 years related agency or client side experience is preferred. Position may require periodic travel as well as the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays if necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Serves as the lead on the Social team and oversees all social media campaigns in the brand and entertainment space
• Ideates, concepts, and creates relevant proposals and social media plans
• Oversees other members of the social media team to ensure top quality
• Offers strategic insight to each client, guiding them toward the optimal tactical execution that meets their specific marketing objectives, while actively seeking out opportunities to grow client account business
• Provides tracking and reporting recaps to verify success of campaigns
• Works closely with producers, creative directors, developers and other divisions of the department, as well as other departments within the agency, to ensure successful social media campaigns
• Works with copywriters to craft copy, postings and editorial calendars
• Attends events and conferences to learn the latest on all things relevant to social media
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university preferred
• Passion for social media
• Thorough understanding of the social media space and those who engage with it
• Ability to think strategically
• Proven success in launching campaigns and building communities
• Capacity to handle a wide variety of tasks and assignments in a dynamic, fast paced work environment
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and the desire to introduce clients to potential new strategies and solutions that will positively impact their business
• Exhibits excellent communication skills, both orally and in written form
• Effectively presents information in both one-on-one and group situations to clients and other employees of the agency
• Flexibility, responsiveness and the capability to ''think on their feet''
• Self-sufficient team player with a strong ability to lead a growing team
